노스텔지어 더블재 〈2025행복작당 – 길상吉祥, 감나무집에 까치 왔어요〉 참여 길상吉祥, 감나무집에 까치 왔어요

북촌의 한옥 ‘더블재(齋)’에서 열리는 《길상吉祥, 감나무집에 까치 왔어요》는 오래된 상징과 오늘의 감각이 교차하는 자리에서 길상의 의미를 새롭게 사유하는 전시다. 감나무와 까치, 풍요와 좋은 소식을 전하는 이미지에 담긴 전통적 상징을 현대 작가들의 조형 언어로 확장하며, 사라져가는 것과 여전히 남아 있는 것 사이에서 우리가 무엇을 기억하고 어떻게 공존할지를 묻는다. 한옥의 결을 따라 구성된 전시는 재료와 형태, 이야기의 층위를 통해 오래된 기운을 현재의 감각으로 다시 불러낸다.온지음 디자인실은 이번 전시에 ‘거북과 오죽, 작은 병풍’을 선보인다. 지조와 절개를 상징하는 대나무와 기초와 안정을 의미하는 거북이를 길상의 상징으로 담아낸 2폭 병풍으로, 곧게 뻗은 오죽의 선과 황동 프레임의 구조가 어우러져 자연스러움과 안정된 균형을 형성한다. 병풍 한 귀퉁이에 놓인 작은 거북이는 구조를 지탱하는 동시에 섬세한 조형적 포인트로 작용하며, 은은히 비치는 원단은 전체를 부드럽게 감싸 우아한 분위기를 완성한다.이번 전시는 《행복이 가득한 집》의 2025 ‘행복작당’ 프로그램의 일환으로, ‘춘화추월(春花秋月)’이라는 주제 아래 더블재의 공간성과 맞닿아 전개된다.

Held at Doublejae, a hanok in Bukchon, 길상吉祥, 감나무집에 까치 왔어요 reconsiders the meaning of auspiciousness at the meeting point of longstanding symbols and contemporary sensibilities. Through the visual language of contemporary artists, the exhibition expands on the traditional symbolism of persimmon trees and magpies—images associated with abundance and good news. Between what is disappearing and what endures, it asks what we choose to remember and how we might coexist. Arranged in response to the character of the hanok, the exhibition brings the spirit of the past into the present through layers of material, form, and narrative.Onjium Design Dept. presents Tortoise and Black Bamboo: A Small Folding Screen. This two-panel screen brings together bamboo, symbolising integrity and steadfastness, and the tortoise, representing a firm foundation and stability, as auspicious motifs. The upright lines of black bamboo and the brass frame create a natural harmony and a stable balance. A small tortoise positioned at one corner supports the structure while providing a delicate sculptural accent. Gently translucent fabric softens the composition, lending the screen an elegant presence.The exhibition forms part of Home Living Korea magazine’s 2025 Haengbok Jakdang programme. Under the theme “Spring Flowers, Autumn Moon” (春花秋月), it unfolds in dialogue with the distinctive spatial character of Doublejae.
