KIST 전통르네상스재단 X 온지음 〈전통한복 포럼〉 강연 KIST Traditional Renaissance Support Group × Onjium: Lecture at the Traditional Hanbok Forum

옷공방은 한국과학기술연구원(KIST) 전통 르네상스 지원단과 공동 주관으로 진행된 전통한복 포럼에 참여하였다. 본 포럼은 한복에 담긴 전통의 가치와 현대적 확장 가능성을 모색하고, 지속 가능한 한복 문화 산업의 방향을 논의하고자 마련되었다. 조효숙 공방장은 소재의 고급화와 대중화를 중심으로, 전통 섬유의 가능성과 한복 산업의 기반 확장에 대해 제안하였다. 온지음 옷공방은 유물 자료에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 전통을 재해석하고, 이를 현대의 기술과 접목하여 한복의 지속 가능한 발전을 모색하고자 한다.

Clothing Studio participated in the Traditional Hanbok Forum, jointly organised with the Traditional Renaissance Support Group at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). The forum explored the traditional values embodied in hanbok and their potential for contemporary application, while considering directions for a sustainable hanbok industry.Focusing on improving the quality of materials and making them more widely accessible, Headmaster of Clothing Studio Cho Hyo-sook presented ideas on the potential of traditional textiles and ways to broaden the foundations of the hanbok industry. Through research into historical garments and textiles, Clothing Studio seeks to reinterpret tradition and connect it with modern technology, supporting the sustainable development of hanbok.
