한복상점 Hanbok Expo 부스 참여 Participation in Hanbok Expo 2024

옷공방은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국공예·디자인문화진흥원이 주관한 〈2024 한복상점〉 기획 전시에 참여하였다. 전시에서는 전통 직물의 조직과 문양 연구를 바탕으로 제직한 한복지와 자체 개발 원단을 활용한 OMA와의 협업 작품, 그리고 아름지기 기획 전시에 출품된 전통 한복을 함께 선보였다. 특히 새롭게 공개된 ‘석류넝쿨무늬 단(緞)’은 국립고궁박물관 소장 영친왕 마고자의 문양을 재현한 직물로, 섬세한 문양 표현과 입체적 조직, 은은한 광택을 통해 전통 직물의 조형적 특성을 드러내고자 하였다.

Clothing Studio participated in the curated exhibition at Hanbok Expo 2024, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Craft & Design Foundation. The presentation brought together hanbok fabrics woven through research into traditional weave structures and patterns, collaborative works with OMA using fabrics developed by the studio, and traditional hanbok previously shown in Arumjigi’s curated exhibitions.A highlight was the newly unveiled 'Pomegranate Vine Patterned Satin,' which recreated the pattern on a magoja(마고자), a traditional jacket, worn by Prince Yeongchin(영친왕) and held in the collection of the National Palace Museum of Korea. Through its delicate pattern, textured weave, and subtle sheen, the fabric sought to reveal the distinctive visual and structural qualities of traditional textiles.
