제네시스 하우스 뉴욕 레스토랑 F&B 컨설팅 Food and Beverage Consulting for the Genesis House Restaurant, New York

온지음은 뉴욕 맨해튼에 문을 연 제네시스의 첫 브랜드 복합 체험 공간 ‘제네시스하우스’ 내 레스토랑 프로젝트에 참여하였다. 제네시스하우스는 일상 속 가치 있는 아름다움을 바탕으로 문화와 예술, 라이프스타일이 어우러지는 공간으로 기획되었으며, 온지음은 그 안에서 F&B 컨설팅을 통해 한국의 미식 경험을 제안하였다.맛공방은 '한국적 일상의 향유'를 주제로, 손님에 대한 환대를 바탕으로 한식의 맛과 감각을 풀어내고자 하였다. 제철 식재료의 흐름과 자연의 에너지를 담아내고, 본연의 맛을 살리기 위한 정성스러운 조리 과정을 통해, 간결하고 절제된 한식의 미감을 구현하였다.본 프로젝트는 전통과 현대 사이에서 길어 올린 '지금의 한식'을 뉴욕이라는 도시 안에서 새롭게 경험할 수 있도록 한 작업이다. 맛공방은 제네시스하우스 레스토랑을 통해, 한국 음식이 지닌 맛과 태도, 그리고 환대의 문화를 일상 속 미식 경험으로 확장하고자 하였다.

Onjium participated in the restaurant project at Genesis House in Manhattan, the first Genesis brand experience space. Conceived as a place where culture, art and lifestyle come together through an appreciation of beauty in everyday life, Genesis House invited Onjium to shape a Korean dining experience through food and beverage consulting.Under the theme of 'Enjoying Korean Everyday Life,' the Food Studio explored the flavours and sensory qualities of Korean cuisine through hospitality. Following the seasons and capturing the vitality of nature, the studio used carefully considered cooking methods to bring out the ingredients’ natural flavours, expressing the simplicity and restraint of Korean cuisine.The project offered a new way to experience Korean cuisine as it is today, drawing on both tradition and contemporary life within the setting of New York. Through the Genesis House restaurant, the Food Studio sought to bring the flavours, care and hospitality of Korean food into an everyday dining experience.
