아름지기 20주년 기획전 《홈, 커밍 HOMECOMING》은 지난 20년간 축적해 온 연구와 창작의 성과를 돌아보는 회고이자, 일정 기간 제작·수집된 작품을 선별해 선보이는 소장품전의 성격을 함께 지닌 전시다.온지음은 맛공방, 옷공방, 집공방이 함께 참여하여 전통 의식주 전반에 걸친 연구와 제작의 결과를 선보인다. 삼국시대부터 조선시대에 이르는 다양한 시대의 문화적 단서를 바탕으로 구현된 공방의 작업들은 전통의 원형을 오늘의 생활 환경 속에서 새롭게 해석하려는 시도를 보여준다. 이는 전통을 단순히 재현하는 데 그치지 않고, 동시대의 삶과 연결되는 감각적 경험으로 확장하고자 하는 온지음의 실천을 드러낸다.
Arumjigi’s 20th-anniversary exhibition "HOMECOMING" combines a retrospective of two decades of research and creative practice with a collection exhibition presenting selected works produced and acquired over that time.Onjium brings together its Food, Clothing, and Housing Studios to present the outcomes of research and making across traditional Korean food, dress, and domestic space. Drawing on cultural traces from periods spanning the Three Kingdoms to the Joseon dynasty, the studios’ works explore how traditional forms can be reinterpreted within contemporary living environments. Together, they express Onjium’s practice of moving beyond the reproduction of tradition to create sensory experiences that connect it with life today.
