옷공방은 아름지기 한복 문화 프로그램 〈한복의 재발견: 봄을 입어 봄〉에 참여하였다. 본 프로그램에서는 여성 복식인 장옷과 남성 복식인 도포를 중심으로 전통 의복의 역사적 변화와 착용 방식에 대해 설명하였다. 장옷은 조선 초기 장의에서 유래한 겉옷으로, 조선 후기에 이르러 내외용 쓰개의 성격을 갖는 복식으로 변화하였다. 도포는 임진왜란 이후 사대부의 평상복으로 널리 착용되며 외출과 의례 시의 기본 복식으로 자리하였다. 이를 통해 시대적 맥락 속에서 형성된 복식의 구조와 쓰임을 체계적으로 이해할 수 있도록 하였다.
Clothing Studio participated in Arumjigi’s hanbok culture program, '
Rediscovering Hanbok: Dressing for Spring'. Focusing on the jangot(장옷) worn by women and the dopo(도포) worn by men, the program explored how traditional garments evolved over time and how they were worn.The jangot originated as an outer garment derived from the jangui(장의) of the early Joseon period. By the late Joseon period, it had developed into a covering worn by women over the head to conceal the face in keeping with social conventions governing interactions between men and women. The dopo became widely worn as everyday clothing among scholar-officials after the Japanese invasions of 1592–1598, becoming a standard garment for outings and ceremonies.Through these examples, the program offered a structured understanding of how the forms and uses of traditional clothing developed within their historical contexts.
