옷공방은 아름지기 기획전시 연계 프로그램으로 워크숍을 진행하였다. 본 프로그램은 제로웨이스트와 핸드메이드, 리사이클, 그리고 지속 가능성과 같은 전시의 주요 주제를 바탕으로 전통 보자기의 쓰임과 제작 방식을 소개하고자 마련되었다. 워크숍에서는 보자기의 종류와 쓰임, 색과 소재, 면 구성과 바느질 방법, 포장법에 대한 강연을 진행하고, 전시 제작 과정에서 남은 원단을 활용하여 조각보를 직접 제작하는 과정을 운영하였다.
Clothing Studio led 'The Art of Creating Good Fortune: Making Jogakbo,' a workshop held in conjunction with an Arumjigi exhibition. Drawing on the exhibition’s key themes of zero waste, handcrafting, recycling, and sustainability, the program introduced the uses and making of traditional Korean wrapping cloths, known as bojagi(보자기).The workshop included a lecture on the types and uses of bojagi, colors and materials, the arrangement of fabric pieces, sewing techniques, and wrapping methods. Participants then made their own jogakbo(조각보), a patchwork wrapping cloth, using fabric left over from the exhibition’s production.
