디자인실은 국내 옻칠 작가와 협업하여 〈라배접 옻칠 테이블매트〉를 개발하였다. 옷공방의 R&D를 통해 개발된 '라' 원단을 장판지에 배접한 뒤 옻칠로 마감하는 방식으로 제작하여, 섬세한 질감 표현과 함께 심미성과 깊이감을 구현하였다. 옻칠 마감을 통해 방수·방습 기능을 갖추었으며, 크기·색감·형태에 다양한 베리에이션을 두어 일상적인 사용에 적합한 내구성과 활용성을 확보하였다.
The Design Dept. developed the Ra-Laminated Lacquered Table Mat in collaboration with a Korean lacquer artist. Ra fabric developed through the Clothing Studio’s research is laminated onto jangpanji(장판지) and finished with ottchil(옻칠) lacquer, creating a delicate surface texture with visual depth.The lacquer finish provides resistance to water and moisture, while variations in size, color and shape offer versatility and durability for everyday use.
