〈까르띠에, 시간의 결정 〉 전시 연계 워크숍 라(羅) 라이크 봉투 만들기 진행 Making Ra-Like Envelopes Workshop for the Exhibition 'Cartier, Crystallization of Time'

옷공방은 〈까르띠에, 시간의 결정〉 전시의 연계 프로그램으로 ‘라(羅) 라이크 봉투 만들기’ 워크숍을 진행하였다. 본 프로그램은 전통 직물 ‘라(羅)’의 연구 성과를 바탕으로, 고려시대 불복장 유물에 나타나는 주머니 형식을 체험적으로 소개하고자 마련되었다.워크숍에서는 옷공방이 개발한 ‘라 라이크’ 원단과 한지를 배접하여 봉투를 제작하고, 유물 장식 요소를 적용하는 과정을 통해 전통 직물의 조직과 쓰임을 직접 경험하도록 구성하였다. 본 프로그램은 전시 공간과 연계된 문화 교육의 일환으로 운영되었으며, 전통 직물 연구가 생활 속 오브제로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고자 하였다.

Clothing Studio led 'Making Ra-Like Envelopes,' a workshop held in conjunction with the exhibition 'Cartier, Crystallization of Time.' Drawing on the studio’s research into Ra(羅), a traditional openwork silk textile, the program offered a hands-on introduction to the forms of pouches found among Goryeo-period objects placed inside Buddhist statues as sacred offerings.Participants made envelopes by bonding the studio’s 'Ra-Like' fabric to hanji paper and adding decorative details inspired by historical objects. The process invited them to explore the weave structure and uses of traditional textiles firsthand. Offered as a cultural education program connected to the exhibition, the workshop explored how traditional textile research could extend into objects for everyday use.
