디자인실이 제작한 오군자 울실크 스카프는 조선 19세기 전반의 유물에서 영감을 받아 디자인하였다. 고려시대부터 조선시대에 이르기까지 귀한 무늬로 사랑받아온 사군자에 풍요와 화려함을 상징하는 모란무늬를 더하여 독창적인 패턴을 완성하였으며, 울실크 원단에 은박과 금박으로 문양을 섬세하게 새겨 넣었다.
Created by the Design Dept., this wool–silk scarf draws inspiration from an early nineteenth-century Joseon-period artefact. The design combines the Four Gracious Plants—plum blossom, orchid, chrysanthemum and bamboo, motifs treasured from the Goryeo through the Joseon periods—with the peony, a symbol of abundance and splendor. The resulting pattern is delicately applied to wool–silk fabric in silver and gold foil.
