Designed by the Design Dept. for 2025, the Year of the Blue Snake (Eulsa), this New Year card features a blue snake symbolizing adaptable wisdom and renewal. The character sa (巳), associated with the snake, evokes the image of life emerging from the earth, while the shedding of its skin suggests letting go of the old and preparing for tomorrow. The design carries a wish for the year ahead: to navigate life’s twists and turns with flexibility and wisdom, embracing new possibilities and prosperity.*Pattern: Snake guardian figure at the Tomb of General Kim Yu-sin, based on a 1991 rubbing.
