아름지기 〈한복의 재발견: 궁궐로 간 사연〉 프로그램 진행 Rediscovering Hanbok: Stories Behind a Visit to the Palace — Arumjigi

옷공방은 2024년 5월 아름지기가 기획·운영한 전통 한복 체험 프로그램 〈한복의 재발견: 궁궐로 간 사연〉에 참여하였다. 본 프로그램은 고궁 관광의 일상적 풍경으로 자리 잡은 한복 체험을 재조명하고, 전통 복식이 지닌 형식과 정신을 체험으로 이해할 수 있도록 마련되었다.옷공방은 조선 후기 유물 고증을 바탕으로 제작한 전통 한복과 장신구를 제공하고, 복식의 구성 원리와 착용 방식, 매무새에 대한 해설을 담당하였다. 여성용 삼회장 저고리와 당의, 장옷, 치마, 남성용 도포와 창의, 전복을 제작하였으며, 일부는 오군자무늬 생고사와 도라지무늬 갑사같은 유물 문양을 바탕으로 개발한 직물을 적용하여 한복 고유의 미감을 전달하고자 하였다.

Clothing Studio participated in 'Rediscovering Hanbok: Stories Behind a Visit to the Palace,' a traditional hanbok experience program planned and run by Arumjigi in May 2024. The program revisited the practice of wearing hanbok to visit historic palaces, now a familiar part of palace tourism, and invited participants to understand the forms and spirit of traditional dress through firsthand experience.The Clothing Studio provided traditional hanbok and accessories recreated through research into surviving garments from the late Joseon period. It also explained how the garments were composed, worn, and carefully arranged. The studio made women’s samhoejang jeogori(삼회장 저고리), jackets with contrasting trim at the collar, cuffs, and underarms; dangui(당의), ceremonial jackets; jangot(장옷), outer garments worn as head coverings; and skirts, alongside men’s dopo(도포) and changui(창의) robes and jeonbok(전복), sleeveless overgarments. Selected pieces used fabrics developed from patterns found on historical textiles, including raw silk gauze with the Five Gentlemen motif and silk gauze with balloon flower motifs, conveying the distinctive aesthetics of hanbok.
